"True love can be ageless": 51-year-old actor marries 16-year-old"

You'd be forgiven for not knowing who actor Doug Hutchison is - unless you're a fan of The

Green Mile, Lost

and/or The X-Files.
But it's his publicist's lucky day - at age 51, he's just married a 16-year-old.

Former beauty pageant queen Courtney Stodden got her mum's blessing (and legally-required

signed permission) to wed her much-older beau.

"We are totally supportive of this marriage," Krista Stodden told Radar Online.

"Doug is a wonderful man and we love him."

In an official statement, the couple acknowledged that their "vast age difference is extremely

controversial,” but assured they are "very much in love and want to get the message out there

that true love can be ageless.”
